At any given moment, you can find our Culinary Team hard at work in the VERTS Test Kitchen — where all your VERTS favorites are created, tested and perfected before reaching any of our locations. While curating our seasonal menus, some VERTS staples will be transitioned off the line to make room for a new seasonal recipe or another item that guests find more favorable. As some of you may have noticed, House Sauce had its last hurrah after the Spring Menu rolled out on April 21.
At VERTS, we believe that flavor comes first, and made the decision to transition the House Sauce off the line to make room for some of our new bolder, seasonal sauces. We are inspired by the passion our guests have for the sauces and toppings we offer, and we want to dish some of that love back at you. While we no longer offer House Sauce in our restaurants, we invite you to create your own rendition at home using our original recipe below. If you never had the pleasure of trying it, it goes great with any chicken dish as well as being a fantastic dipping sauce for vegetables warm or cold.
5 tsp. salt
10 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. dried dill
1 tsp. onion powder
½ tsp. ground black pepper
3 tsp. minced garlic
5 tsp. Dijon mustard
32 oz. plain whole milk yogurt
Directions: Combine all ingredients until thoroughly mixed. Store in the refrigerator.
